We are looking for a Junior Mechatronics Design Release Engineer to support the design, validation, and integration of the Manual Park Release system in automotive transmissions. This role involves working with powertrain, chassis, and electronics teams to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and validate Manual Park Release mechanisms in automatic transmissions.
Assist with integration into transmission, braking, and chassis systems.
Conduct hardware and software testing in simulations and prototype vehicles.
Analyze failure modes and implement corrective actions using DFMEA, PFMEA, and DRBFM.
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure production feasibility.
Use CAN bus tools for system validation.
Optimize actuator performance, material selection, and cost efficiency.
Participate in the development and integration of switches and sensors into MPR systems.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering.
Experience in mechatronic systems, actuators, or powertrain development (internships or academic projects like Baja SAE / Formula SAE are a plus).
Proficiency in CAD software for mechanical design.
Basic knowledge of transmission systems and mechatronic actuators.
Experience with automotive validation tools
Basic embedded systems programming
Knowledge of switches and sensors in mechatronic systems
English is mandatory (intermediate-advanced) for collaboration with global teams.
