Position Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist to lead cross-functional projects aimed at standardizing, simplifying, enhancing, automating, and improving operations within our Global Business Services (GBS) organization. The role will focus on driving transformation across core functional areas including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R). This is a high-impact role for a hands-on problem solver and change agent who can blend Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and Project Management methodologies with strong data analysis and automation know-how.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and execute end-to-end continuous improvement initiatives across GBS functions (P2P, O2C, R2R)
· Lead and deliver results through influence, engaging cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive alignment and execution without direct authority
· Develop and implement a GBS-wide Operational Excellence framework, including the design and rollout of standard work practices, governance models, and performance routines to drive consistent execution and service quality
· Assess current processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose actionable solutions using Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile techniques
· Drive standardization, process simplification, and documentation of core activities
· Collaborate with functional teams to design and implement automation solutions (e.g., Macros, VBA, RPA, Python) to reduce manual work and enhance accuracy
· Define operational and performance metrics, manage and validate data sources, and support the development of insightful reports and dashboards to track progress and drive data-driven decisions
· Develop and monitor KPIs to track project impact and ensure sustainability of improvements
· Facilitate workshops, kaizen events, and training sessions to build a culture of continuous improvement
· Act as a liaison between operations and technical teams to define requirements for automation and digitalization initiatives
· Support the development of a GBS-wide Continuous Improvement roadmap and governance model
· Prepare business cases, project charters, and benefit realization plans for initiatives
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master's is a plus
· 5+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Business Transformation roles
· Proven track record of applying CI tools (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis) in financial or administrative services environments
· Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher), PMP, or Agile/Scrum preferred
· Strong analytical skills with experience in defining metrics, managing data, and designing visualizations using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
· Working knowledge of automation tools such as VBA, Macros, RPA (UiPath, Power Automate), or basic scripting (Python, SQL)
· Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) is a strong plus, especially for enabling end-user automation and low-code solutions
· Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
· Experience working in a GBS or SSC setting is highly desirable
· Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
