Qualifications:

• Industrial Engineering, Mechanics, Bachelor´s degree in administration or similar completed.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in similar positions, preferred in the automotive industry.
• Preferred Lean Manufacturing certification.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness of manufacturing operations and achieve operational excellence.

• Support and drive key manufacturing initiatives in cost reduction, quality improvement, and delivery.

• Work with planning to ensure the production schedule is accurate, issues can be resolved, and target dates can be met. Uses sales forecasts and sales orders to generate production plans

• Implements effective measurement tools associated with continuous improvement and cost out. Contributes heavily to the identification and implementation of cost-out ideas.

• For direct reports, mentors coach employees, and Supervisors including completing and giving performance reviews, addressing disciplinary issues, recognizing positive accomplishments, etc.
