The Payroll supervisor ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll while ensuring compliance with labor tax obligations. Provides support to associates for any payroll-related inquiries, Responsible for ensuring the effective daily performance of the payroll team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees the performance of the payroll team.
Resolves employees' requests concerning payroll.
Ensures compliance of all labor financial obligations, responds inquiries from labor authorities (related to payroll), IMSS, STPS, SAT, Infonavit, Fonacot, Payroll Tax, etc.
Stay informed of relevant local regulatory and policies changes, communicating and establishing key changes across teams.
Supports the tax team in reconciling tax obligation payments.
Reviews payroll processes and suggests improvements for related activities.
Supports internal and external audit reviews.
Manage the payroll system.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Minimum experience of 5 years in payroll processing and a supervisory role.
Proven experience in manufacturing environments, resolving tax enquiries (IMSS, Fonacot, Infonavit, etc. using “TRESS” payroll system “SAP” “ERP”.
English intermediate level.
