The Supply Chain Manager will oversee the planning, ordering, storage, control, and distribution of materials and products according to company needs and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

Materials Planning

• Develop and implement materials management strategies in alignment with company goals and customer demands using their ERP system
• Forecast material requirements based on production schedules and customer orders
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure production continuity

Inventory Management

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products
• Implement and manage inventory control systems to track inventory levels, orders, and deliveries
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies

Logistics and Distribution

• Coordinate logistics and transportation to ensure timely delivery of materials to production and finished products to customers
• Manage relationships with logistics providers and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Team Leadership

• Lead, train, and develop the materials management team to achieve department goals
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the team
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all materials management activities

Reporting and Analysis

• Prepare regular reports on materials management performance, including inventory levels, procurement activities, and supplier performance
• Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials management, preferably within the automotive industry
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and inventory control
• Certification in supply chain management or related fields (e.g., APICS, CPSM)
• Proficiency in materials management software and ERP systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software systems
• Proficiency in Spanish and English
