Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end closing and prepare monthly financial statements and other operational reports for site
• Oversee preparation, analysis, and reconciliation of specific accounts
• Supervising finance department activities while providing effective coaching and support to accomplish goals
• Prepare monthly reports of results, monthly forecasts, annual business plan.
• Review labor reporting and cost, material costs, manufacturing overhead and cost of non-quality.
• Ensuring full compliance and improvement to site internal controls
• Coordinate and schedule plant physical inventories
• Proactively identifying business or accounting risks and implementing countermeasures where appropriate
• Analyzing and interpreting plant performance, evaluating variances and assessing the effects on plant results
• Identify, lead and/or support cost reduction initiatives working cross functionally with other areas to drive cost reductions.
• Review and approve spending in accordance with company policies.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Advanced English.
• 5 to 10 years in a similar role at accounting and finance.
• At least 3 years' experience in Maquiladora manufacturing environment.
• Analytical with good attention to detail.
• Takes ownership and follows through on decisions and actions
