Seeking a Purchasing Manager with a strong industrial/manufacturing background, who will oversee the procurement and purchasing department in our Tijuana location. This position involves managing supplier relationships, developing procurement strategies, and maintaining cost efficiency.

Description

• Manage procurement of direct materials and indirect items.
• Lead purchasing planning processes aligned with the S&OP strategy.
• Supervise a large team of buyers.
• Build and implement solid purchasing processes within the first 6 months.
• Analyze RFQs and negotiate with both domestic and international suppliers.
• Develop sourcing strategies and supplier standardization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, finance, logistics, and production teams.
• Actively engage in the development of new suppliers.
• Implement cost-saving and efficiency strategies in the purchasing area.

Profile

A successful candidate should have:

• A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Knowledge of the industrial/manufacturing industry
• Advanced/Fluent English
• Strong leadership and management abilities
