As an Administrative Assistant for the Technology Products Group organization at Micron Technology, Inc., you will provide high level administrative support to enable effective organization and communication in a fast-paced environment. This role has the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to improving the smooth operation of processes and activities within the scope of the position.
Key responsibilities and tasks:
· Perform administrative duties to include, but not limited to:
o Travel, lodging and expense reports
o Conference room reservations
o Coordinate and organize team meetings and site events
o Facilitate catering
o Act as liaison to other Administrative Assistants
o Coordinate office moves
o Prepare emails, letters and other documents using Microsoft Office Suite
o Distribute incoming communications and evaluate to identify those items needing priority attention
o Conduct research and compile data for review as needed
o Supporting Vice Presidents within the TPG Organization with calendar management and travel logistics
· Ensure smooth office operations
o Distribute incoming mail and packages for multiple TPG bullpens
o Arrange and track package shipments
o Schedule maintenance and repairs for area office equipment
o Maintain office supply ordering and inventory
o Order and maintain office equipment and act as liaison with contractors
o Heavy coordination between and with IT, facilities, and security
· Serve as an effective liaison between various Micron sites, departments, and other TPG locations in the resolution of day-to-day administrative problems
o Provide department support
o Provide area/building support
o Provide back-up support to other TPG Administrative Assistants
· Train incoming Administrative Professionals as needed
· Travel and calendar support for Functional Vice Presidents as needed
Qualifications:
· Successful candidates for this position will have:
o 5+ years of experience providing high level administrative support
§ Excellent calendar management skills
§ Experience arranging complex travel for domestic & international destinations
o The proven ability to interact with team members at all levels of the organization to support multiple activities in parallel
o Reliable attention to detail, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
o Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
o Bilingual: Spanish and English (verbal and written)
o Previous experience developing administrative policies and procedures
o Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
o Strong decision-making capability
o Strong organization skills
o Ability to meet defined deadlines
o Ability to work well with others
o Ability to work well without direct supervision
