- Job Title: Technical Consultant
Job Description Summary
- The Technical Consultant position is responsible for implementation of Blue Yonder Category Management with good knowledge on Blue Yonder Category Management. These include independently handling the implementation and provide solution to technical/functional issues to stake holders over calls and to also to project managers. Associate should have strong product knowledge in at least any 3 of the below areas.
Responsibilities:
- Should have good knowledge in the any two Blue Yonder products mentioned above. Should have hands on experience with installing and configuring the product and understand the interactions within various modules.
- Should have implementation experience on Blue Yonder products with at least one or two full cycle implementation experience.
- It is preferable if the candidate has previous experience of working in any of the cloud technologies and should be familiar with the basic network terminologies.
- Should have experience in reviewing the integration design and suggest best practices.
- Should work as a liaison between Consulting, Support and Cloud Services to ensure smooth and efficient implementation and integration between technical and functional system requirements during on-boarding of new customers or during upgrades or patch updates
- It is mandatory to have good knowledge of Oracle RBDMS concepts and administration. Knowledge of RAC (Real Application Cluster) is an added advantage.
- Candidate should be able to review an existing application set up and perform an assessment for suitability to upgrade.
- Understands how Blue Yonder solutions can be configured to better facilitate client business processes.
- Should have strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of any defect management tool will be an added advantage.
- Ensures quantity and quality content in the Knowledgebase. Should be able to drive a KT and Transition plan effectively.
- It will be an added advantage to have a candidate with knowledge of incident, problem and change management process.
- Responsible for incident resolution for specific set of customers within the specified POD / Product / Project
- Adheres to priority-based management based on impact + urgency
- Drive Service Improvement Plans and ensuring the Incident Management process is performed as designed
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Master's degree in Computer Applications or other equivalent technical field.
Communication
- Associate has good English language Skills both verbal and written
- Associate has expert customer service/phones skills - Being able to walk associates through advanced tasks over the phone and dealing with difficult customers
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide variety of internal and external personnel with emphasis on follow-through and reporting to stake holder on project status.
- Must have excellent organization and technical documentation skills.
Work Experience
- 1-5 years work experience
- Azure fundamentals
- GitHub actions
- Read and understand SQL statements
- Some project management knowledge skills (Not looking for a Project Manager)
- ITIL - Incident Management and Change Request: Ticketing tools like Service Now, Remedy. Task Scheduling tools: Control-M.
- 3-5 years implementing any solution/software.
- Knowledge in BY products, especially retail, WFM, Category Management.
PowerShell scripting: Read and understand.
