Position Overview
The Inside Sales & Supply Chain Associate is a critical support role within Tecumseh's Mexico organization. This position involves managing customer accounts and sales, as well as supporting supply chain operations, inventory management, and shipment coordination. You'll work closely with both regional (Mexico & Central America) and US-based teams to ensure smooth order processing and inventory management, while also assisting in promotional sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Manage customer accounts and process orders for OEM, wholesale, and distribution customers in Mexico and Central America.
Input and manage customer purchase orders and internal requisitions (IRISO) using ORACLE.
Troubleshoot and resolve order and shipment issues, both inbound and outbound.
Collaborate with the supply chain team on inventory forecasting, planning, and reporting for Mexican warehouses.
Coordinate intercompany shipments with US teams and assist with warehouse operations.
Support the regional sales team with seasonal marketing programs.
Provide excellent customer support via phone and email.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years in administration, customer service, or sales, ideally within a similar industry.
ERP Expertise: Experience with ORACLE, SAP, JDE, or similar ERP systems is required.
Bilingual: Fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Customer-focused: A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
Organizational Skills: Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Self-Starter: Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
Global Trade Knowledge (preferred): Familiarity with import/export processes and customs regulations is a plus.
Industry Knowledge (preferred): Experience in the HVAC&R industry or with compressors/condensing units is an advantage.
Additional Information
Occasional travel may be required (~0-10%).
Must have a valid passport and US visa.
