Job Title: Digital Implementation and Adoption Engineer

Purpose of Role: The Digital I&A Engineer role is a thrilling opportunity to work with the latest IIoT technology, focusing on the implementation and integration of the Weir Synertrex IIoT solution. The position involves both remote and on-site support for the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of the solution, as well as managing its integration with customer DCS systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in PLC and DCS system integration, provide exceptional technical support, and drive the global adoption of Weir's Synertrex Digital Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversees global implementation and commissioning of Weir's Synertrex solution.
• Coordinates projects for smooth digital solution implementation.
• Expert in resolving hardware faults in monitoring and optimization solutions.
• Manages Synertrex applications' implementation and integration in DCSs and PLC systems.
• Drives global adoption of digital solutions and manages customer service standards.
• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechatronics or automation field. Higher qualification is desirable.
• Proven experience in similar capacity
• Manages IIoT integration from on-premises gateway, DCS to the cloud.
• Experienced in configuring systems (embedded + wireless + networking + SCADA + IIoT + ADC).
• Skilled in network configuration, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Direct experience with Studio 5000, TIA Portal, and TwinCAT for testing and commissioning industrial control systems.
• Knowledge of data architecture, modelling, mapping, analysis, and visualisation.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, individually or within a team.
• Capable of providing strong customer service and exercising diplomacy.
