The Role We're seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead, inspire, and empower multiple squads of Software Development Engineers. This role demands a strong leader who's passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. You'll set clear objectives, drive technical excellence, and foster a collaborative Agile environment that supports both the team and Solera's ambitious growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple squads to design and deliver exceptional technical solutions.
• Define measurable objectives and monitor performance.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and resolve roadblocks.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system design and architecture.
• Initiate improvements for processes and technologies.
• Maintain code quality, perform reviews, and set up CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure on-time delivery and scalability of high-quality software.

Your Expertise

• 8+ years in hands-on software development (coding, production issue resolution).
• 3+ years in management or technical leadership.
• Proficiency in React (React Native a plus) and Java (REST, SOAP).
• Experience with Android/iOS mobile development.
• Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and CI/CD tools.
• Expertise in domain-driven design, microservices, and database technologies (SQL Server, NoSQL).
• Knowledge of API design, performance engineering, middleware security, and PaaS.
