We are looking for experienced Linux Engineer to set up the deployment automation stack from scratch. Environment is exclusively bare metal. Salt stack is used for OS configuration, xCAT - for provisioning. The goal is to migrate to Ansible, Warewulf 4 and GitHub + GitHub Actions.
What we expect:
· Proficiency in Ansible
· Expertise in GitHub actions
· Advanced Linux Administration. Ideally both Ubuntu and RHEL, but RHEL-only will do.
· Good understanding of bare-metal Linux environments ( provisioning / networking / drivers / kernel options / etc )
· Ability to work not only on well-defined tasks, but also look for solutions themselves if problem arise
· Excellent communication skills in English (B2+ proficiency)
Nice to have:
· Hands-on experience with Salt
· Basic understanding of OS performance optimizations and benchmarking
· Basic understanding of security
