POSITION SUMMARY
The Graphic Artist is responsible for taking conceptual design ideas and creating visual electronic representations of them pertaining to all types of casino-based video gaming machines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and develop graphics for casino-based video slot gaming machines (engaging characters, icons, symbols, and game elements).
Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts.
Develop product art and illustrations, logos, game art and other content.
Develop high-quality animations for characters, UI elements, and special effects to enhance game engagement.
Create stunning backgrounds and environments that bring the game world to life.
Design menu interfaces, HUDs, and buttons, ensuring usability and aesthetic appeal.
Develop promotional videos and animations for game attractions, in-game events, and marketing purposes.
Optimize assets for performance and memory efficiency, ensuring smooth gameplay on different platforms.
Maintain a consistent visual style across all game elements, adhering to branding and project guidelines.
Prepare and deliver art assets, concept sketches, and storyboards for internal presentations.
Be able to follow company branding guidelines.
Work as part of a team.
Develop and maintain graphics library.
Maintain safe and intuitive archive of projects including graphic files, photos, logos, and artwork.
Obtain approval on all work in accordance with company policy.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
A bachelor's degree in graphic or art design or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Five or more years of experience as a graphic artist.
Exceptional creativity and innovation skills
Excellent graphic design skills and must have demonstrable portfolio in a wide range of formats.
Proficient with industry leading software technologies (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, InDesign, etc.).
Video production and motion graphics capabilities.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability, originality in addition to the ability to conform to instructions provided.
Must be able to turn work very rapidly and meet deadlines.
Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas and handle constructive criticism.
High degree of professionalism regarding time, costs, deadlines and project tracking.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize projects, respond to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines.
Capable of adapting to a varying and flexible work schedule.
Strong written/oral communications and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
English level: proficient
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming registration if necessary.
