Description

• Lead teams of professionals and managers, providing strategic direction, talent selection, development, motivation, and education.

• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial data related to the Latin America & Caribbean Division.

• Conduct monthly closing meetings with Accounting and Financial Managers to review results, identify anomalies, and ensure financial clarity.

• Collaborate with regional leadership and the Corporate Controller's team to review and explain financial outcomes.

• Oversee statutory audit and regulatory reporting functions, ensuring timely completion and compliance with local standards.

• Lead and participate in projects to improve internal processes, partnering with Enterprise Business Solutions and Data and Technology teams.

• Maintain compliance with SEC reporting requirements, US GAAP, Local Country GAAP, IFRS, and Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 (SOX).

• Develop and maintain systems and processes to strengthen internal controls and support periodic internal control certifications.

• Utilize data proactively to monitor and address internal control concerns and opportunities.

• Establish and maintain a "exceptional compliance" through ongoing education and collaboration with leadership and functional compliance champions.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Significant related experience in accounting and/or auditing, and contract systems.

• Knowledge of data processing systems, accounting terminology, and accounting processes and procedures.

• Exposure to foreign statutory accounting and regulatory reporting requirements.

• Strong management, human relations, and communication skills.

• Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills.

• Verbal and written fluency in both English and Spanish

• Consistently high performance and leadership ratings.

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience at Manager level or higher.
