Must bring strong leadership, financial expertise, and a drive for continuous improvement. CPA certification and fluency in English and Spanish are preferred.

Description
-
Lead teams of professionals and managers, providing strategic direction, talent selection, development, motivation, and education.

Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial data related to the Latin America & Caribbean Division.

Conduct monthly closing meetings with Accounting and Financial Managers to review results, identify anomalies, and ensure financial clarity.
-
Collaborate with regional leadership and the Corporate Controller's team to review and explain financial outcomes.
-
Oversee statutory audit and regulatory reporting functions, ensuring timely completion and compliance with local standards.

Lead and participate in projects to improve internal processes, partnering with Enterprise Business Solutions and Data and Technology teams.

Maintain compliance with SEC reporting requirements, US GAAP, Local Country GAAP, IFRS, and Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 (SOX).

Develop and maintain systems and processes to strengthen internal controls and support periodic internal control certifications.

Utilize data proactively to monitor and address internal control concerns and opportunities.

Establish and maintain a "exceptional compliance" through ongoing education and collaboration with leadership and functional compliance champions.

Significant related experience in accounting and/or auditing, and contract systems.

Knowledge of data processing systems, accounting terminology, and accounting processes and procedures.

Exposure to foreign statutory accounting and regulatory reporting requirements.

Strong management, human relations, and communication skills.

Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills.

Verbal and written fluency in both English and Spanish

Consistently high performance and leadership ratings.

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience at Manager level or higher.
