The packaging engineer design, develops and delivers Optimized Packaging to NAL Mexico manufacturing processes (returnable & expandable), according to

Packaging procedure, achieving QCDW targets (Quality, Cost, Delivery&Workability), using Engineering tools and processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree
• Fluent english
• Experience in packaging design, development and validation is a must - 2 years
• APQP / PPAP 2 years experience

Skills:

• Open Issues lists and Timing Management for internal organization / customers / suppliers
• Packaging design, development & validation (trials, stackup analysis, instr sheets, portals)
• Automotive industry in packaging development (Projects / APQP / PPAP)
• Management skills: Gantt Diagram & Action Plans
• Knowledge of IATF-16949
• Negotiation/communication skills/experience with automotive customers (use of customer web portals)

Responsabilities:

• Develop & Track Schedule for Packaging development to achieve cost reduction, timing reduction & meet customer specifications
• Create, negotiate & get approval of Packaging Instruction Sheets from customers, Internal & External
• Develop Packaging Specification Sheets ensuring it meets Customer & NAL Mx requirements & Lessons Learned
• Perform Packaging Design Review with customers (Internal & External) to ensure QCD optimization
• Meet KPI: Packaging On Time, on budget, without Quality Concerns & meet workability required level
