REQUIREMENTS
· Fluently Bilingual (Spanish/English).
· Professional with a Hospitality/ Business Degree and a minimum of five years management experience, or five years of equivalent experience that must include administration, building and grounds maintenance and owner/customer relations.
· Computer skills; MS Office package and email.
· Must be willing to live in Manzanillo area.
· Provide three professional references, a resumé and cover letter in English.
Functions of the General Manager of Vida del Mar Condominium Association:
1. Reports to an active Board of Directors consisting of US, Canadian and Mexican citizens.
2. Prepares, in cooperation with the Treasurer, the Annual Budget of the Association.
3. Implements the budget in cooperation with the committees of the Board of Directors and the staff of the association.
4. Manages the human resources of the association including maintenance, landscaping, housekeeping, security and financial/administrative staff (35+ staff).
5. Provides logistical support to Owners of 199 units, including maintenance, housekeeping and concierge services.
6. Oversees the maintenance of 6 hectares of tropical gardens including, a fresh and a grey water irrigation system, 3 swimming pools, and a sewage treatment plant.
7. Maintenance of the common areas, including 2 kms of cobblestone roads, 9 transformers, electrical and gas systems, an administrative building and an employee kitchen.
8. Oversees the preparation of an annual procurement plan.
9. Responsible of preparation and negotiation of contracts for both goods and services.
10. Responsible for working with the condominium's legal advisors to keep the Board abreast of legal requirements of the association.
