JOB TITLE: Inside Sales Representative REPORTS TO: TBD

DEPARTMENT: Sales and Administration STATUS: Non Exempt Hourly

JOB SUMMARY: The Inside Sales Representative develops, solicits and closes new account, generates sales quotes and handles customer inquiries. This is a transactional and relational position that works with internal and external customers in the sales function.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Interacting with local and regional customers on contractual and transactional business on a daily basis

• Responding to customer's quotations, needs, inquiries, and complaints

• Administrative processing of customer orders (i.e. quotations and order entry)

• Sourcing for non stocked items and work order entry

• Following up and out calling for direct sales

• Sharing of any interaction and involvement with customers that might require the outside salesperson's or sales management's attention, or may result in additional sales

• Understanding the goals and concepts of SERT's business and incorporating business goals to achieve sales and profitability

• Working closely with territory managers, credit, inventory, systems, warehouse, and other departments in the company.

Position Requirements

• Previous telephone sales or customer service experience

• High school graduate or equivalent required; college degree desirable

• Aggressive, competitive, and self-motivated attitude

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP.

• Strong math aptitude

• Detail oriented

• Bi-lingual: fluent in English/Spanish verbal and written communication skills

• Problem solving / conflict resolution and negotiation skills

• Ability to work well and excel while working with a team or individually

• Punctual, dependable and competent
