Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Processing a high volume of invoices.

·        Handling Factory Invoices – Attaching packing slips

·        Enter data into Navision

·        Send invoices for approval and follow up that they are returned to A/P to meet vendor terms.

·        Experience in use of HSBnet banking website a plus.

·        Setting up Wire Transfers and corresponding with vendors to advise the wire payment details.

·        Experience in handling and processing Customs Duty invoices and verification of charges.

·        Processing Federal Express and UPS invoices by verifying charges and routing invoices for approval.

·        Verifying Fedex invoices against Receiving report to check in receipt and record payment.

·        Assist in running the weekly check run.

·        Match vouchers to check run and vouchers to checks.

·        Filing Accounts Payable voucher/check packages into the main Accounts Payable Files.

·        Take the lead in coordinating the boxing of the prior year's Accounts Payable files into boxes, list contents on boxes and maintain the storage lists.

·        Reconciling Vendor Statements of Account monthly.

·        Other Duties as needed

Education and Experience:

·        Associate's degree in accounting preferred

·        2 – 3 years Accounts Payable experience in a high volume of invoice processing.

Qualifications:

·        Intermediate excel skills required.

·        Experience in using the computer system Navision a plus.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with internal and external contacts.

·        Basic proficiency in English (oral and written) is a plus
