We are entrepreneurial-minded organization that welcomes and support individual idea and strategies. We're in search of an experienced Tax Specialist to join our team.

We are currently looking to hire an experienced and dynamic Tax Payroll Auditor.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws and company policies.
Review and reconcile payroll discrepancies, investigating issues and implementing corrective measures.
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations related to payroll and employee compensation.
Prepare and submit necessary tax filings and reports, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Analyze payroll data and trends to identify potential areas of risk or improvement.
Utilize software tools to generate reports and insights for management.
Work closely with the HR and finance departments to streamline payroll processes and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist in the training of HR personnel on payroll tax regulations and best practices.
Maintain accurate and organized records of audits, findings, and recommendations.
Prepare documentation for external audits and provide support during the audit process.
Contribute to the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and industry standards to inform policy revisions.

Requirements

Bachelor's' Degree in finance or accounting or related discipline is required
4-5 years of proven experience as a payroll auditor or in a similar role, preferably within the logistics or transportation sector.
Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and present findings clearly.
Certification (e.g., CPA, CPP) is a plus.
Fluent English is a must
