Cost Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:

• Determination of the cost of sales for financial statements and explanation of variances against the previous year and the budget.
• Daily analysis of efficiency, utilization, productivity, standard hours and scrap reports.
• Analysis of profit margins by customer and part number.
• Preparation of the cost factors / burden study to determine standard labor rates and manufacturing overhead rates.
• Analysis of obsolete and slow-moving material according to company policy.
• Inventory management from a cost point of view. Revaluations, cycle counts, rotation, physical inventory, adjustments, etc.
• Annual budget.
• Extensive knowledge of routes and structures with by-products and sub-products.

Requirements:

• Public Accountant / Industrial Engineer.
• 5 years' experience in cost accounting in manufacturing environment.
• Teamwork, results oriented, analytical capacity, problem solving.
• Fluent English (speak, read, translate, write).
• Advanced Excel capabilities.
• US/MEX GAAP.
• Use of ERP experience (Oracle, SAP).
