DIRECTOR OF ACCOUNTING AND CONTROL

The Position is responsible for the Accounting and Financial statements of the Organization as well

as providing support to the Operations group, through information analyses and preparation of

operational data analyses. The job holder is expected to play a business partner role, identification

of areas for cost reductions and operational improvements, annual budget process, rolling

forecasting, and periodic analysis of operations performance.

Responsibilities:

?Month and Year-end reporting according to US-GAAP / MEX - GAAP.

?Forecast, budget and SP Planning, P&L and Balance sheet.

?Representation of the Month end and Forecast calls and Budget and Strategic Plan meetings.

?Ensure alignment with overall financial goals and company objectives

?Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal controls.

?Strong role as cost controller, spend avoidance and reduction.

?Contact with local and /or Federal authorities in all financial / legal and tax matters. 

•Reconcile Accounting vs operational figures and all inter-company accounts monthly.

•Local and federal Tax compliance

•Resolve questions of GAAP and internal controls with corporate financial management.

•Responsible for internal controls company-wide.

•Supervise and perform inventory cost, distribution cost,

returns and inventory levels.

•Execute credit and collection strategies based on the

analysis of accounts receivable, critical cases, to ensure

cash flow required for operations.

•Negotiate favourable payment terms to enhance working capital

•Manage and mentor the AR and AP team, setting clear performance objectives.

•Provide training and career development opportunities for staff

Education & Experiences:

•Required bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent related discipline

•Master´s degree in finance preferred

•Required minimum 10 - years in experience in Finance discipline

•Required minimum 10 - years leadership experience

•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

•Outstanding customer service, and continuous improvement

•Resilient and able to work under pressure to reach project goals

•Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of the organization

•Very Good computer skills using MS Office and ERP systems

•Strong Experience in Internal Controls

•Ability to multi-task and set priorities
