Education and experience
?
? University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
? Minimum of 7-9 years of experience in Accounting, with at least 5 years in leadership role .
? Experience within the manufacturing or industrial sectors is preferred.
Key Responsabilities
- Responsible for effective liaising with DXC and the local Accounting teams
- First point of contact for assigned operational Accounting CoE hub staff
- Lead and manage the Accounting teams in the CoE, ensuring high performance, development and team cohesion
- Coordinate all country / cluster Accounting processes in scope for CoE
- Serve as an escalation contact for accounting related issues
- Oversee the OTC/PTP processes in scope for CoE, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Closely collaborate with the Reporting & Analytics team to standardize Accounting report templates
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to assess the effectiveness of OTC/PTP processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Assess standardization, optimization and automation potential from Legal Entities / country specifics based on market best practices and/or best in class Legal Entities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives jointly with the Global Process Owners (GPOs) to enhance accounting processes, increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders including sales, customer service, BPO provider (DXC) and other departments to streamline OTC/PTP processes, resolve any issues that may arise, and optimize end-to-end processes in Accounting
- Interview and hire CoE Accounting staff as needed with strong emphasis on recruiting the best qualified candidates with strong experience in driving improvements in the area of Accounting
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management and stakeholders
- Ensure all financial reporting and processes comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the Sulzer directives and the Sulzer Accounting Manual (SAM)
- Liaise with auditors and ensure the completion of audits with minimal adjustments
- Ensure internal controls are in place and followed for the Accounting processes in scope for CoE
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are defined and followed in the CoE
Technical & language skills
?
? Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, iScala) and accounting software
? Strong MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) skills
? Experience with Tagetik and Qlik Sense is a plus
? Proficiency in English
