Director of Bilingual Preschool
Position Purpose
To lead and supervise the academic, administrative, and pedagogical operations of the preschool level in a bilingual environment, ensuring the correct implementation of the educational programs: EYFS, Jolly Phonics and Cambridge. The role is aimed at fostering an effective, innovative, and high-quality learning environment that supports the comprehensive development of students.
Duties and Responsibilities
Academic Leadership:
- Implement, supervise, and evaluate the established educational programs: EYFS, Jolly Phonics, and Cambridge.
- Design and coordinate innovative pedagogical strategies tailored to the needs of a bilingual preschool.
- Ensure the curriculum is aligned with international standards and local regulations.
Staff Management:
- Supervise, train, and evaluate the teaching staff.
- Encourage the continuous professional development of teachers through workshops and training sessions related to the educational programs.
- Promote a collaborative and constantly improving team environment.
Parent Relations:
- Establish effective communication channels with families, encouraging their active participation in the development of the students.
- Provide periodic updates on the academic progress and development of the students.
Administrative Management:
- Organise and supervise the daily operations of the Preschool, including schedules, activities, events, and reporting.
- Manage the educational resources and teaching materials required.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct evaluations of the academic performance of both students and staff.
- Implement continuous improvement plans to achieve and maintain standards of excellence.
Job Requirements
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Preschool Education, Pedagogy, Psychopedagogy, or related fields.
- Preferred: Graduate studies in education or educational administration.
Professional Experience:
- At least 3 years in a leadership role within Preschool education.
- Proven experience in implementing the EYFS, Jolly Phonics and Cambridge programs.
Technical Competencies:
- Proficiency in the aforementioned educational programs.
- Advanced English (C1 level or higher).
- Knowledge of administrative management and educational strategic planning.
