ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

•4+ years of progressive metal stamping, laser cutting and/or fabrication industry experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory

•Experience working with the North American automotive industry.

•Experience working Plating of metals

•Experience working under Quality System Standards (IATF 16949).

•Design shop floor for most efficient and productive layout.

•Train team of manufacturing engineers.

•Revamp machine design to business's unique production needs.

•Develop and lead teams to address production and product issues.

•Define and implement cost savings and safety initiatives.

•Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.

•Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information, ideas and concepts both verbally and written to individuals and groups.

•Excellent people skills as a successful and dynamic individual with strong leadership abilities.

•Technical hands-on knowledge of manufacturing processes, machines and terminology.

•Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook/email.

•Solid understanding of company EPICOR or other ERP system.

•Understanding of manufacturing quality standards.

•Strong organizational skills.

•Familiarity with local employment, safety and environmental laws.

•Ability to travel throughout North America, as needed
