Company Description
DY Corporation is a South Korean company founded in 1978. Throughout the years DY has become a globally competitive supplier of hydro automotive components for industrial machinery mainly focused in heavy duty. DY has been expanding around different countries such as Japan, China, India, USA and soon to be Mexico.
The site in Mexico is named DY Mechatronics and it is now in construction, expecting to be finished by the end of 2024. It is so far one of the biggest and most important projects held by the corporation, the reason why we are very excited to work on our new team.

Role Description
Manage and supervise all production operations to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing of hydraulic cylinders, always seeking safety in the performance of production staff activities, coordinating and optimizing all production processes, ensuring compliance with established and required standards, as well as periodic production targets.
Essential Functions:
- Plan, organize and supervise daily production activities, ensuring compliance with production schedules and quality standards.
- Optimize the use of human and material resources to maximize efficiency in production processes, including CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, burnishing and burning machines, Yaskawa robots, friction welding, curing ovens and plating of parts.
- Develop, implement and supervise continuous improvement processes at all stages of manufacturing.
- Collaborate with the maintenance, quality and safety departments to ensure a harmonious, safe and efficient work environment.
- Develop and maintain active relationships with suppliers to ensure timely supply of materials and services.
- Monitor the performance of production equipment and coordinate with the maintenance department the rapid resolution of technical problems.
- Prepare, analyze and present production reports to the Director of Operations, including efficiency in compliance with the production plan (quantities and times), quality, production costs, waste generation, human resource performance, etc.
Essential Requirements
- Strong knowledge in production operations management, with experience in handling CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, Yaskawa robots, friction welding, curing ovens, and piece platting.
- Experience in supervising and optimizing production processes in industrial settings.
- Ability to lead work teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work culture.
- Capability to implement continuous improvement programs and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Security Competencies
- The candidate must possess a solid understanding of industrial safety regulations and best practices in an industrial environment, with the ability to conduct risk assessments related to the operation of heavy machinery and hazardous materials. They should have experience in implementing and managing safety programs to ensure a secure workplace for all employees. Proficiency in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and the development of corrective action plans is essential, along with competence in emergency response planning and execution, as well as coordinating safety training for employees.

Recruitment Process
Once the profile is reviewed by the HR and administration staff you will receive a call or a message from DY Mechatronics Mexico. It is a 3 step process which requires 3 different interviews. The first interview is held by phone call from the HR staff for general information and CV fact check. The second one follows up with a face to face interview in our offices with the participation of the administrative staff as well as the HR team. The last but not least interview is held with the participation of our vice-president and staff in which the final decision is made.
