LEAR NEW CARREER OPPORTUNITY | APQP ENGINEER (GM)

REYNOSA PLANT

In this position you will find an excellent opportunity to coordinate and ensure the quality of product launches for our customer GM, besides this role will certainly give you a lot of exposure, as you will have the opportunity to deal directly with the customer and suppliers.

Your tasks will be

· Lead for manufacturing location's APQP Deliverables and confirms completion of the site's quality documents required internally and by the customer during the initial launch phases of a product leading up to PPAP.

· Liaison for the plant for all Advanced Quality Planning activities including internal gate reviews with the customer and with the internal program team.

· Ensure that customer requirements are incorporated into product functional specifications and included in Control Plan

· Coordinate with Industrial Engineering on the development and implementation of Poka Yoka strategy and confirm controls carried into the Control Plan

· Responsible for the confirmation and completion of the manufacturing location's PPAP documentation and for completing PSW process to the customer for launching programs and product/process changes.

· Support and attend launching program customer meetings and customer process reviews/audits.

· Monitor Run at Rate activity and process run documentation.

· Conduct APQP program gate reviews to confirm plant APQP activities are complete with the appropriate evidence, readiness assessment is completed and that all site APQP documents are on time to program commitments and loaded into the Lear Program Management system.

To be successful in this role you will need:

· Bachelor's degree in engineering

· Minimum 3 years working in the function in the automotive industry.

· Strong interpersonal communication and listening ability.

· Practical experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools, tool usage and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)

· Competent in problem solving tools such as 8D methodology.

· Strong knowledge in Core Tools, IATF, Problem solving.

· Knowledge of customer specific requirements

· Proficient English
