As an Maintenance Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in leading and managing the Maintenance, Facilities and Quality team within a manufacturing organization. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing projects, guiding technical teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and driving innovation to achieve organizational goals
Lead and supervise a team of engineers and technical staff, providing guidance, mentoring, and support.
Set clear objectives, evaluate performance, and foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
Develop talent within the team through coaching, training, and professional development initiatives.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Able to identify Department grow path to support the Corporation Casting Strategy.
Oversee engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize project outcomes.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success
Provide technical leadership and expertise in engineering disciplines relevant to the organization's products or services.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to develop new products and improve existing ones.
Capable to design and/or solve problems in the following Engineering fields: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electronics, Mechanical and Electrical.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical and Electrical), no Industrial Engineering.
Experience in a transformation metal mechanical industry preferred.
Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in engineering roles with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership.
Demonstrated ability to manage and lead engineering teams, including project management experience.
Strong technical knowledge and expertise in engineering principles, design methodologies, and manufacturing processes.
Strong knowledge of Equipment and Facilities Maintenance.
Strong knowledge of SPC, FEMA's.
Six Sigma Experience.
Experience in product development, innovation, and implementing engineering best practices.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
