Supervisor, Shipment
Coordinate all the shipping activities, since the receiving of the FG from the Mfg. area, the location of the material and the respect of the material during the storage and the preparation of the stage, taking care of the human resources as the primary asset of the area observing the adherence to the process and policies, acting ever under the premise of safety is first and Quality is a given.
Responsabilities
· Work every day under the mantra: safety as first priority and 6S as a standard of work.
· Assure the appropriate material storage taking care to reach the inventory accuracy index of 98% and evaluates the consistency of the team behaviors with the expected standards and instructions.
· Assure to have all the team properly trained on all the task and process of storage and managing of the inventory and give continuous positive feedback to the team.
· Assure to have all the shippers on the expected window according with the instructions received from Customer Service and production Planning.
· Evaluates the follow ship to the standard of shipping/customs regulations and make the appropriate arrangements on the deviations found.
· Monitor the inventory turns and alert to the organization about excess potential obsoletes and or old material with low movement.
· Keep continuous and good level of communication with Customer service, support areas and giving overall good service and looking for customer (internal/external) satisfaction.
· Assure the training of the team, giving them the appropriate support during the learning curve to assure them acquire the appropriate tools to perform their good on a good standard.
· Follow the ISO TS instructions and procedures to manage the material under the highest standard of safety and material respect.
Comply with and ensure compliance with PKC Group's Environment, Health and Safety Policy and Energy Policy.
Comply with the environmental, health, safety and energy requirements set forth in Federal, State and Municipal legislation and applicable regulations related to our activities and products to comply with the EMASS (Energy, Environment, Health and Safety) procedures inherent to their work position.
Contribute to the effectiveness of the Energy, Environment, Health and Safety Management System, including the achievement of the EMASS Objectives and Goals.
Profile
Education and experience
· Bachelor's Degree engineering, administration or related field.
· English, conversational
· Experience on the Shipping area (Automotive industry – Preferred)
***Letter of no criminal record necessary, as long as your local regulations allow it.
Skill/ knowledge requirements:
· Experience with the ERP and Scheduling of pick ups Oracle, SAP, JD power and or Plex Mfg. system
· Strong Knowledge of Office usage, especially with MS Excel advanced user or expertise on data bases.
· Experience on Logistics
· Experience with the Carriers scheduling (UPS, Fed Ex, DHL)
· Experience with the customs requirements.
· NAFTA, CT-Pat, requirements.
