Production Manager 

This position manages a team of intermediate or experienced professionals in Manufacturing Operations. Establishes objectives and guidelines for managing and monitoring cell performance and productivity. Directs scheduling and sequencing of work, as well as production innovation to optimize production.

Responsibilities

·      Lead and manage the Production team, efficiently managing human resources (direct labor) according to the required production capacity to meet demand.

·      Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the business strategy.

·      Set clear and measurable operational goals and objectives.

·      Monitor the compliance of production plans.

·      Monitor the performance of production lines, seeking improvements in Safety, Quality, and Productivity.

·      Be part of the team for solving production issues, working closely with direct staff and the process.

·      Work closely with the Maintenance, Planning, Materials, Quality, Safety, and Training departments to ensure production goals are met.

·      Generate the Production budget and manage its adherence to the approved spending.

·      Maintain optimal levels and impeccable 5S standards on the production lines.

·      Maintain a constructive relationship with union delegates and leaders, focusing on an excellent work environment.

·      Prepare and control the department's budget.

·      Monitor and ensure compliance with department KPI metrics.

·      Develop operational staff through training and development based on area needs.

·      Conduct performance evaluations for team members and provide timely constructive and appreciative feedback.

·      Ensure that development, recognition, and rewards are managed fairly and consistently within the area of responsibility.

·      Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement.

·      Identify and implement new practices and processes that align with industry best practices.

Requirements

·      University degree in Engineering or a related field.

·      Over 5 years of experience as a Production Manager.

·      Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
