First Brands Group is hiring for a Production Chief for our Airtex division for our office in Panzacola, Tlaxcala.
The Production Chief will assist by Plan and manage workers' tasks ensuring achievement of goals and productivity. Optimize production processes and improve OEE performance. Monitoring of production plans, indicators of achieved objectives, SMED, 5s and management of core tools
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Compliance with Plant Safety and Hygiene Indicators: Days without incidents, security alerts.
Compliance with plant quality indicators: client and internal PPM and quality alerts.
Compliance and follow-up to daily production activities.
- Ensure compliance with the 5's standard in the production cells.
- Sending and closing of security alerts
- Daily monitoring of unplanned cell shutdowns.
- Daily monitoring of the production program.
- Implementation and follow-up of 8D's of production.
Establish with the production coordinator goals and improvements needed for the fulfillment of the daily production schedule.
Ensure deliveries of finished product in time and form to the shipping area.
Establish actions to quality problems in production cells such as: Troubleshooting, 8D's and continuous improvement projects.
Develop the responsibilities and authorities described in the Environmental Management System according to their respective roles
