OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:

Work proactively and actively on new product and savings projects, involving design and implementation of packaging and packaging for the desserts, cakes and bakery category.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Education: Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Chemical Engineering
• Experience in a similar position of at least 3 years.
• SAP (PLM)
• Knowledge of design platforms
• Knowledge of Food Safety Standards
• Availability to travel
• Languages: Intermediate English

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development of new products, primary and secondary packaging, packs and packaging materials.
• Development of plastic (PET, HDPE, PP, PS) and flexible packaging (laminated films, shrink sleeves, label materials, adhesives, etc.)
• Knowledge of materials for boxes and corrugated
• Develop functional tests: laboratory and online tests
• Develop shiping tests
• Knowledge of laboratory testing, use of specialized instrumentation (for primary and secondary packaging)
• Perform packaging testing and validation
• Collaborate with suppliers for continuous improvement of packaging materials and processes.
• Optimize packaging design to reduce costs and improve sustainability.
• Document technical specifications and prepare product sheets.
• Coordinate with production, logistics and quality teams for the implementation of new packaging.
• Manage packaging materials through the PLM-SAP system as well as the generation of specifications
