The role the Plant Manager is to orchestrate the Plant dynamics and manage the effective operation of the Plant and, from call-off to shipment, including stock management. He/She is responsible to organize the resources in personnel and means of his/her Plant to ensure customer satisfaction in accordance with the policy and objectives set. The Plant Manager leads the continuous improvement process in his area, particularly in terms of skills management, quality, service, productivity, safety and sustainability.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
· Work and Compliance with safety regulations during the performance of their duties and support Safety job in the relevant section.
Ensure HSE rules are defined and applied at all time.
· Responsible for the overall Plant direction, coordination, and performance.
· Follow production plan and assure feasibility of it to achieve 100% OTD.
· Coordinate resource planning with the departments concerning stocks, equipment, staffing, activities, etc. Communicate with head of departments for technical expertise.
· Has full HR and budget responsibility
· Manage the quality department and assure production processes, methods and resources delivery high quality products.
· Define and follow the Plant yearly roadmap, aligned with the Plant Strategy.
· Drive continuous improvement and quality culture, ensure standards are respected at all time.
· Assure appropriate staffing, maintain working environment according to the group standards, detect and advise training needs, share information (transparency), etc.
· Plant representative to the customer: meet expectations concerning lead-time, delivery, quality and costs.
· Implement preventative and corrective measures in the production process to assure that customer demands and product quality are met.
· Drive the daily APU routines (QRQC, Gemba Walk, ..), maintain KPI dashboards and status, reports to monitor lead time, supply-chain targets, HSE performance, etc.
· Achieve financial targets: prepare and present APU budget; manage actual production costs based on standard, and monitor production effectiveness.
· Maintain the workshop's ability to adapt to changes.
· Select, hire and train new employees, promote internally when possible. Manage resources and make sure the resources perform and aligned with the company goals. Take actions if targets are not achieved.
· Set progress objectives and implement the appropriate means of measurement.
· Contribute to the maintenance of the social climate and the involvement of the personnel through information, communication and participation.
· Develop a sense of customer service through awareness and information activities.
· Ensure that performance is recognized fairly and in a motivating manner.

Daily Activities:
· Lead the daily operational routines (Production Gemba Walk / QRQC, Production meeting, etc..). Ensure the group standards are used.
· Review the on-going actions and projects to ensure fast resolution of problems and performance improvement.
· Support and drive the team to achieve the strategy and objectives.
· Facilitate people empowerment, coach and train the team.
· Cascade the Quality policy of the company.
· Implement corrective and preventive actions with the Quality dept.
· Ensure the relevance of the ranges and means made available by the Engineering Department.
· Implement a policy of standardization in the process, in the organization and in the behaviours.
· Ensure 5S of each area are updated and always maintained.
· Support the different teams in analysis and structure of problem solving.
· Support the cross-fertilization of the different departments in the Plant to improve the system.
· Cooperate across functional to solve any issue as assigned.
