Important leading company in its field is interested in hiring the position of QUALITY MANAGER
Job Objective:
The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality management functions at the factory. This position is critical to ensuring compliance with global quality standards, maintaining high product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plastic composite processes, including molding, lamination, carbon fiber, and painting, with a strong background in quality management in manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with international standards, including ISO 9001, and other relevant certifications.
· Ensure compliance with QMS procedures and operational controls across all production lines, focusing on precision and operational excellence.
· Design, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
· Lead and mentor the quality team, including inspectors, engineers, and coordinators, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
· Allocate resources for managing complaints, conducting audits, and addressing critical quality tasks.
· Oversee the preparation and management of the quality department budgets, ensuring appropriate resource allocation and cost control.
· Supervise and conduct internal and external audits to ensure adherence to established quality standards, proactively addressing gaps and implementing corrective actions.
· Serve as the main point of contact for managing customer complaints and non-conformities, ensuring resolution and alignment with company policies.
· Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to mitigate recurrence.
· Ensure proper documentation and resolution of internal non-conformities in line with established quality management procedures.
· Drive the development and execution of supplier quality programs, including assessments, audits, and performance improvement initiatives to ensure quality materials and components.
· Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other problem-solving methodologies to optimize plant processes, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement by applying tools such as 8D, 5Whys, FMEA, and root cause analysis to drive sustainable process improvements.
· Oversee quality control processes, including product inspection, testing, and validation of both internal and incoming materials from suppliers, ensuring compliance with product specifications.
· Leverage statistical process control (SPC) and quality tools to monitor product performance, analyzing data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (a university degree is required).
· Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality management functions in manufacturing, ideally in the automotive, plastics, or composites sector.
· Strong background in plastic composite processes (thermoset and thermoplastic), including molding, lamination, carbon fiber, and painting.
· Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role managing teams across quality functions.
· ISO 9001, IATF 16949, Six Sigma (preferred) certifications.
· Advanced proficiency in English (both conversational and technical).
Technical Skills:
· Expertise in quality control tools and measurement instruments (e.g., micrometers, densitometers, glossmeters).
· Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 8D, FMEA, and SPC.
· Strong experience with thermoset and thermoplastic composites, carbon fiber manufacturing, lamination, molding, and painting processes.
· Skilled in managing internal audits, handling quality certification processes.
· Proficient in ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis software.

Working Conditions:
· The role is primarily based in an office environment within the manufacturing plant, with frequent visits to the production floor and quality labs.
Occasional travel to customer sites, supplier facilities, and industry events or conferences may be required
