Talent Acquisition Recruiter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join our team. In this position, you will apply your general recruitment knowledge to provide full-cycle recruiting services, including sourcing, attracting, and selecting top talent in collaboration with business partners. You will be responsible for implementing and administering recruitment processes, maintaining strong relationships, ensuring governance and compliance, and performing data research and analysis to meet the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

65% Develop Pipelines, Implement and Complete Recruitment Strategies

• Develop recruitment strategies and sourcing plans based on business goals and functional needs.
• Utilize your industry knowledge to identify the best channels and methods for sourcing talent, including labor market consultation, competitive intelligence, and promoting the Emerson brand.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting processes, including job posting development, candidate sourcing, interviews, selection, offer management, compliance management, and communication with candidates and hiring managers.
• Use recruitment technology systems (e.g., Oracle Recruit Cloud) to streamline processes and use Taleo analytics to achieve greater efficiency.
• Participate in recruitment-related projects or initiatives that align with business objectives.

25% Relationship Management

• Collaborate with business leaders and HR professionals to define sourcing strategies, assess candidates, and create recruitment metrics.
• Manage candidate pools to ensure ongoing engagement for current and future opportunities.
• Provide training and guidance on recruitment processes and systems for HR professionals.
• Engage in vendor management when applicable to ensure effective recruitment partnerships.

10% Employment Governance and Compliance

• Ensure recruitment compliance with local, regional, and global labor laws.
• Administer internal systems and processes to support adherence to policy and regulatory requirements.
• Support accountability measures and compliance with established processes and policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 4 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong business insight, with a focus on results and collaboration.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data, with experience implementing recommendations with business partners.
• In-depth knowledge of employment equity, employment law, and diversity recruiting strategies.
• Proven organizational and detail-oriented skills, with strong leadership abilities to drive process quality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and clients at all levels.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Experience with recruiting tools such as Taleo, LinkedIn, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional training in behavioral interviewing and technical recruiting.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
