As a HR Business Services Supervisor you will deliver comprehensive HR services at the local level, ensuring agreement on the regional HR Business Services goals and compliance with local regulations. You will emphasize local service delivery, which accounts for 75% of the responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Local Service Delivery:
Hiring and Onboarding: support managers in preparing job descriptions. In some cases, participate in interviews candidates, oversee onboarding process, accomplish regional moves.
Compensation: advise managers and HRBPs regarding compensation changes and employee wages ranges and increases. Inform Total Rewards of mandatory increases and CLA agreement.
Continuous Improvement: support HR process improvements, standardization and transformations.
ER/LR and Restructuring:
Monitor and update policies: Track changes in laws, update company policies, and distribute new regulations.
Manager support: Maintain regular contact with local managers and provide coaching.
Legal compliance: Offer legal advice on employment matters to ensure compliance with local labor laws.
Disciplinary actions: Advise and conduct disciplinary actions and grievances, and guide managers on legal aspects of departures.
Employee separations: Manage offboarding processes and employee separations.
Daily labor relations: Handle daily labor relations tasks.
Union negotiations: Prepare and lead negotiations with unions or works councils.
Restructure support: Support organizational restructuring plans, including feasibility studies and severance calculations.
You will also support in performance management process, talent management and engagement and support DEI education and local projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with HR roles in a national or global company with different employee populations (sales, unionized, retail, other).
- 3+ years of experience with local labor laws and regulations.
- Fluent English with excellent oral and written skills.
You will work in hybrid model.
