Job Overview
At Schenker International S.A. de C.V. we are looking for an IT Service Manager to be part of our IT team, for our office in Guadalajara, Mexico, who will be responsible for any given Global or local services ("End-to-End") for full-service lifecycle, in terms of Service delivery, Service strategy, Service operations and optimization.
What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)
· Required Minimum bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
· Required experienced IT Professional with at least 5+ years of work experience as Service manager.
· Required IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) qualification.
· Desired Agile/ Scrum experience and certification.
· Desired PRINCE2® or PMI® certified.
What will be your challenges?
· Full responsibility for service scope, review, processes, and quality of Contract logistics business.
· Ensuring stable operation based on service mgmt. according to ITIL by taking over accountability of all service components and service dependencies.
· Plans and monitors the service resources & escalates in case of deviations.
· Manage the service design and maintain the related service catalog items (incl. service description).
· Implementation of the service improvement plan (SIP), capacity plans, availability plan, IT service continuity plans.
· Assurance of IT-based service quality according to SLA/OLA, improvement measures and track their implementation development.
· Communication Management with all involved parties and stakeholders, and Coordination of service processes in close cooperation with other IT process owners.
· Act as a quality gatekeeper to ensure operational readiness for changes/new releases/initial rollout in countries, e.g. as a representative in Change Advisory Board and lead IT Changes.
Competences:
· Problem Solving Mindset.
· Profound knowledge in Service Mgmt. (Incident, Change & Release, Problem, SLM, Vendor Management, Contracts & SLA).
· Experience identifying process improvements and coordinating their implementation.
· International experience in customer projects working with multicultural teams.
· Understanding of warehouse operations and associated IT processes.
· Exposure to working with any WMS (Infor/SAP/Blue yonder) related functional knowledge.
· Customer and service orientation.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work effectively across diverse organizations, groups, and functions and virtually leading teams, and Flexible thinker able to operate in a changing environment.
· Proven presentation skills.
· Fluent Business English (written and spoken).
· Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Outlook, Visio, etc.).
