Department Overview
Test Systems Engineering (TSE) @ MSI Reynosa, Mexico. MSI TSE Department focuses in two main goals:

- Designs, builds, and deploys test solutions into the production Supply Chain. These solutions are used to program, tune, and test the company's product portfolio. This helps ensure that our products are performing per customer specifications.
- To provide assistance to our manufacturing facilities in case of problems affecting the production of our products.
TSE Organization activities include: SW Development, SW Debug in multiple programming languages, Integration (HW & SW), HW Debug, RF (Design and Debug), improvements to existing test solutions, documentation, among others.
Job Description

• Design, develop and implement test hardware and software for production testing of new products. Evaluate deadlines, goals and develop project schedules.
• Identify and implement changes is HW and SW test solutions to improve production Yields, reduce overall TestTime to increase the capacity of a production lines and optimize test process flows. This includes implementing new processes and technologies, utilizing statistical tools, and developing innovations in resolving existing issues on production test systems.
• Identify technical and quality problems, determines alternatives and evaluates them to arrive at the most acceptable approach considering conformity to specifications, cost effectiveness, testability and reparability.
• Document and present technical reports (SW/HW/Process). Provide technical information and participates as a team in technical programs.
• Production line transferences, debug of test software among others.

Candidate requirements:

• Experience knowledge of test systems hardware and software architecture.
• Familiarity with C#, C++, Python or similar is desirable.
• Capacity to create test programs from scratch.
• Radio Frequency knowledge is preferred.
• Hands-on and technical skills in troubleshooting test solutions.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Focused in continuous improvement.
• Availability to work from Mondays to Fridays onsite (Ave Industrial Rio Bravo Suite B Parque Industrial del Norte 88730 Reynosa, TAM)

Basic Requirements

• Education in Electronic/Electrical/Mechatronic Engineer or equivalent.
• 1+ years experience in similar positions (e. g. Test engineer, Continuous improvement engineer, among others)
• Experience programming knowledge with LabVIEW/Teststand.
• Fully Bilingual (English / Spanish).
