Your new role

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the areas of demand and supply planning, foreign trade (imports), customer service, and logistics, ensuring process efficiency through the management of a 3PL in charge of storage and distribution. The role will lead a team comprising both internal and external staff, including a planner, a foreign trade specialist, three customer service representatives, and outsourced collaborators in quality and warehouse management. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with key KPIs such as OTD (On-Time Delivery), FA (Forecast accuracy), order accuracy, working capital, and stock days, as well as coordinating imports from the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Asia. The role will also participate in the mature S&OP process alongside the designated planner, implement logistics strategies with a strategic vision, optimize resources, develop the workforce, and negotiate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.

What you´ll need to succeed.

· Professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, including at least 3 years in leadership roles such as supervisor or manager.

· Ideally, the candidate should have a background in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.

· Vast experience in demand and supply planning, foreign trade (imports), customer service, and logistics.

· Experience overseeing a 3PL supplier for storage and distribution.

· Familiarity with a mature S&OP process is essential, as is experience managing imports from united states and Europe.

· Proficiency in key performance indicators like On-Time Delivery (OTD), forecast accuracy (FA), order accuracy, working capital, and stock days is critical.

· The ideal candidate should possess strong internal negotiation skills, a strategic vision, and a focus on team development, ensuring efficient and effective supply chain operations.

· Advanced English.
