We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power BI development with a focus on building business-critical reports and dashboards. This role will involve working closely with business users to gather requirements, creating dynamic reports, and ensuring data accuracy and validation. A strong understanding of SQL is required for efficient data manipulation and extraction.

Required Skillsets/Experience:

• Power BI Development: Proven experience in developing and maintaining interactive Power BI reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Advanced SQL Skills: Strong ability to write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.
• Data Analytics & Validation: Ability to analyze and validate data for accuracy, consistency, and integrity in reports and dashboards.
• Business User Interaction: Experience collaborating with business users to understand their reporting needs and translating them into actionable data visualizations.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve data-related issues and improve report performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures to support reporting requirements and ensure accurate data extraction.
• Work closely with business users to gather reporting requirements and deliver high-quality data visualizations based on their needs.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of the data used in Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing reports and dashboards based on user feedback and evolving requirements.
• Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features, SQL best practices, and data visualization trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in Power BI development, with a strong focus on reports and dashboards.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, extraction, and analysis.
• Experience with data modeling, visualization techniques, and Power BI best practices.
